Fire survival: Killed, only seeds survive
Sexual system: Both sexes in each flower
Flowers: All year round, but mainly in September
Pollinator: Unknown!
Fruit: Released 2 months after flowering
Seed dispersal: Ants
Seed storage: Underground in ants nests
Rarity status: Rare - known from only a few high altitude sites
Habitat: Peaty swamps and seeps, 450-850m
Distribution: Kogelberg and Kleinrivier Mountains
