IDM Cape Peninsula - Grey Tree Pincushion - Leucospermum conocarpodendron conocarpodendron

A solid black dot indicates where the species is found.

Leucospermum conocarpodendron conocarpodendron - Grey Tree Pincushion is a Peni.nsula endemic from the eastern slopes of Devil's Peak around the northern and western slopes of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles to Llandudno. Ls cono c tends to prefer the drier granite slopes.

We appear to have a good coverage within its distnibution range. However, is the gap at Oudekraal (Saalrug to Slangolie) real or due to lack of sampling? Is it really confined to above 200m between Oudekraal and Bakoven? Is the gap above De Waal Drive real? We lack seasonal data from February, May and September for Ls cono c. Since this is a Peninsula endemic, we cannot au ent the data from elsewhere. Please visit the species for seasonal data!

We have a few records of planted form, but usually the Green Tree Pincushion appears to be preferred.
