Seed storage: In ground litter, perhaps hoarded by rodents
Rarity status: Vulnerable due to agriculture
Habitat: Shallow soil with ferricrete over clay, 10-170m
Distribution: Elim Flats from Gansbaai to Bredasdorp

Fruit: Dropped to the ground
Seed dispersal: Wind, but possibly rodent, research needed
Seed storage:  In ground litter, perhaps hoarded by rodents
Rarity status: Rare - localised, known from 1 population
Habitat: Shales on south slopes, 300m
Distribution: Mountains north west of Caledon
Note: Discovered in June 2002, this is possibly a new sub species of Leucadendron elimense

Rarity status: Endangered as a result of habitat loss to agriculture and alien plants
Habitat: Level sandy to loamy soils, 330-400m
Distribution: Northern end of Viljoen's Pass and eastwards to Theewaterskloof Dam, now extinct at southerly extent

Rarity status: Endangered due to loss of habitat to fruit orchards
Habitat: Loamy soils, steep southern slopes, 220-300m
Distribution: Grabouw to Houhoek in the Elgin Valley
