A solid black dot indicates where the species is found. Leucadendron
levisanus - Cape Flats Conebush is the only Sandveld Conebushes (with small hairy
seeds) on the Peninsula.
Growing abundantly adjacent to Table Bay it was frequently collected and frequently
named. Today it is Endangered with extinction. It once occurred at Paarden Island, Salt
River, Mowbray, Black River, Wynberg, Pollsmoor, Lakeside, Fish Hoek - Kommetjie, Witsand,
Witsieshoek and Simonsberg and beyond to Mamre and Faure.

Nature Reserve (where it has been planted). Have the survivors at Fish Hoek survived?
