Cedarberg Annual Getaway 2000

Protea Atlas Logo The Annual Get Together (23-25 September) will be held in the northern Cederberg just east of the Pakhuis Pass. The Travellers Rest Cottages have been booked which is on the Brandewyn River just east of the Pakhuis Pass above Clanwilliam (36km).

This will give us access to endemics such as Ls reflexum, Ld concavum, Se flava and other exciting proteas. We will be concentrating atlassing in the Wuppertal, Krakadouw and Biedow areas.

The cost will be R70 per person per night. A cheaper option for those wanting "student" accommodation may be available. Please book now.

We will probably partake in the Khoisan Kitchen on the Saturday night at R50.00 per head. The menu is (Breads, Jams, Spit Braai, Bredie, Boerewors, patatoes, soet patat, vegetable, salad, icecream and coffee/rooibos tea).

More details will be posted here as they become available. A R50.00 deposit will be required to book – this will not be refundable! In all probability this will be our second last AGT.

Thank you everyone for e-mailing, phoning and writing your choices, and Wendy Paisley for ascertaining possible venues.

Please fax your Booking for the Cedarberg Annual Getaway 2000 to (021) 797-6903.
