IDM Swaziland - Forest Beechwood - Faurea galpinii

A solid black dot indicates where the species is found.

Faurea galpinii - Forrest Beechwood has florets which are stalked and with velvety hairs. The flowerheads are erect.

Fa galp is apparently locally common on the escarpment, preferring the margins to forests.

It has been atlassed only twice in Swaziland. Both of these localities are from the Ridge South of Intaba Peak (25o59’S 31o06’E 1200 and 1480m -Frequent)

More localities for this species in Swaziland are needed.
