Seed storage: In seedheads on plant
Rarity status: Not threatened, probably more common than currently known because of its cryptic nature
Habitat: Silcrete or ferricrete gravels at the fynbos/renosterveld ecotone, 150-700m
Distribution: Langeberg, Shaw's Pass and Potberg
Notes: This species should be properly surveyed. It may be endangered with extinction
