to 1.5m tall
Fire survival: Killed, only seeds survive
Sexual system: Both sexes in each flower

Rarity status: Rare, isolated patches of 2 or 3 plants
Habitat: Sandstone sands, 1000-2000m

Rarity status: Not threatened, widespread in extensive populations
Habitat: Sandstone sands, 900-1400m
Distribution: Witteberg to Swartberg and Anysberg, Touwsberg and
Rooiberg, Kouga and Outeniqua Mountains
Notes: This species ranges from the typical Cornflower Sceptre to
an
Elongate Sceptre in having forms on the Swartberg with entire upper leaves. |
