The
first three months of my incumbency have passed and the 12th Newsletter is here.
Since my last report, we have started to churn into motion. Some 46 Protea Atlas Kits have been dispatched - Have you bought yours? If not, then I suggest you hurry up so that you will not only have your kit, but be familiar with it before our next walk. We have had several Protea Atlas walks, which have been very enjoyable, and I urge you to diarize the walks advertized within these Newsletters.
Atlassers in the Transvaal and Natal regions please watch your mail carefully as we will be running walks during October-November to familiarize atlassers and potential atlassers with procedures. Please order your kits now so that you can prepare yourselves for these walks.
The Protea Atlas Project will be having an official media launch during November, with an exciting, most unusual programme. Watch the press for details of YOUR project's launch and don't forget the walks. Even better, break out and organize your own!
I hope to meet many of you over the next few months as I continue to learn how to identify our proteas.
