Protea Atlas Project Wins Cape Times Caltex Environmental Award

At a function at the V&A Waterfront on 20 November 2003, the Protea Atlas Project was awarded the Cape Times Caltex Environmental Award for outstanding achievement in conservation in the Cultural, Natural, Historic or Social Environment in the Category Amateur, Individual or Group. Tony Rebelo, the project's Scientific Officer was there to receive the award on behalf of the Protea Atlas Project, Protea Atlas Project staff and all the atlassers.
